About Sahil Modi

Mr. Sahil Modi is a Senior Product Manager who manages global FIG banking products at S&P Global Market Intelligence. He joined S&P in 2009 and is currently responsible for all elements of product life cycles, including data research & analysis, developing & implementing product roadmap & competitive strategy, go-to-market strategy and execution, customer-winning solutions in their workflow, and thought leadership. He has had various roles within the financial institution group, including building global FIG datasets, banking templates, data collection policies & disclosure, performing data quality & testing, supporting client communications, and training & development. He has been tracking the global banking sector for 14 years, including the Basel regime, GAAP/IFRS reporting standards, banking trends and financial crises, etc. Before joining S&P Global, Sahil was an AMFI (Association Mutual Fund in India) registered Mutual Fund advisor at HDFC Asset Management Group, where he worked with clients to tailor their investment portfolios to match their needs. Sahil obtained a bachelor's degree in commerce from HK College and an MBA in finance from the Indian Institution of Finance (IIF)
