Over 15 years’ experience of capacity building of National Staff, UN partners’ staff and International NGOS staff and line ministries for humanitarian response through my work with WHO, UNICEF, UNAIDs and international NGOs in Somalia, Sudan, Kenya, Liberia, Myanmar, and Jordan. • Experience of conducting training needs assessment and capacity building trainings in the refugee camps and the host communities in the countries of my assignment • Experience of building the capacity of local NGOs and government staff working with vulnerable communities including people living with HIV/AIDS, disabilities, low socioeconomic status, internally displaced persons and those belonging to other minorities. • Experience delivering development projects to support gender equality and the empowerment of women in both refugee and host communities. • Managing Global Fund Projects for Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS focusing on increasing access to treatment and providing advocacy and capacity building of stigmatized groups (including women living with HIV/AIDS • Advanced training in capacity building (ProCap), gender-based violence prevention and response, emergency preparedness and response (UNICEF), monitoring and evaluation (UNICEF, Liberia) and civil-military coordination and interaction (RedR) and many other humanitarian courses. • Expertise in capacity building, monitoring and evaluation of health projects, and leading health coordination activities in countries of assignment. • Skills in resource mobilization, grant writing, capacity building, communications and stakeholder management. • Excellent oral/written communication skills. Fluent in English, Somali, Arabic and Italian.
