I am a results-oriented Community Engagement professional with over 18 years of experience working with communities and over 12 years of team leadership experience managing teams to deliver impactful community development programmes that effectively engage communities, address community needs, foster positive change and drive social value. I have extensive experience mentoring, coaching, and leading diverse teams to drive operational excellence. I am skilled in monitoring performance at both individual and team levels, setting clear goals, and implementing targeted service improvement plans to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. I am committed to providing high-quality services that create meaningful outcomes for residents and local organisations. I have designed, implemented and delivered a wide range of community-based and social value projects and programmes, from significantly enhancing education, training and employment rates in communities, delivering high-profile housing transitions worth multi-millions to developing and implementing greener community projects and turning around underperforming community centres to become community hubs that are a real asset to residents. I consistently ensure that projects are delivered within the allocated timeframe and budget, effectively planning the project, managing budgets and allocating resources, and proactively mitigating risks to the project to ensure that it runs smoothly—often managing multiple projects simultaneously, effectively problem-solving and working well under pressure to deliver results. I quickly build and manage complex relationships with key stakeholders, including Councillors, Cabinet Members, senior officers, and community representatives.
