About Saige Weeks

I currently am working as the Deputy Director of the Penquis Family Enrichment Services department where I assists in the daily service operations of the department and oversees clinical, supervision, and administrative duties for several of the department’s family and behavioral health programs. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the State of Maine and holds a Master of Social Work degree with a clinical focus on children, youth, and families from Boston College. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in both social work and psychology. I have years of experience serving children and families as an advocate, behavioral health professional, child protective support investigator, and outpatient clinician. Additional I have vast experience with counseling, which includes work with children, adolescents, adults, and families in outpatient individual, group, in-home, jail, and school settings. I have has worked with clients to address various mental health and substance use issues, and have experience in facilitating dialectical behavior therapy, Violence Intervention, substance use, self-esteem, and social skills groups. I currently directly manage and oversee all clinical, supervision, and administrative duties for two Child Welfare Contracts, Section 28, Behavioral Health Homes, Domestic Violence Intervention Program, School based Counseling, Jail-based Counseling, Out-patient services, Federal Office for Victims of Crime grant, and an Federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention grant. I am very motivated, outgoing, energetic, and compassionate LCSW. I have a Labrador retriever who is a registered therapy dog who loves going to our residential homes and visiting with clients. We also foster and help assist with dogs behavior to prepare them for adoption. When we are not working, we can be found outside hiking, swimming, skiing, or camping.
