Sajith Kumar has over 25 years of project management and related experience in Metro /Infrastructure projects. Presently General Project Manager of Thales in Bangalore managing its BMRC project. Thales Portugal is implementing the Telecommunications systems for the phase-1 of BMRC Namma Metro project. The Phase-1 network of Namma Metro project consists of two corridors viz. East-West and North-South. It covers 42 km (Elevated section 33 km, Underground section 9km) with 40 stations (33 elevated, 7 Underground), 2 Train Depots and 2 Operational Control Centres. Thales scope of work includes Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Test & Commissioning, Maintenance/DLP of the Telecommunication Systems: SDH, Giga-Ethernet/IP Network, TETRA Radio, BBRS WiFi, CCTV, Telephony, PAS, PIDS, MCK (Time Distribution) and T-SCADA Achievements- Set up the Bangalore Project Office, Site Office and Warehouse in 2009-10- Recognition as one of the main pillars of the team with significant contribution in operational and financial performance of the project- Delivered performance exceeding targets consecutively since 2010 and completed DLP/Maintenance support for all stations/ depots. In his previous assignments he was also involved in : • the implementation of the first state-of-the art metro network in India as part of Alcatel team for DMRC phase-1 • Setting up the Training Process/ methodology and Training Infrastructure including budgeting
