About Sajith Nugawela

As a Mechatronics Engineer, I am passionate about designing and controlling complex systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. I am currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics Engineering at Sri Lanka Technological Campus, where I learn about the fundamentals and applications of robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence. I am also enrolled in a short-term course in Mechatronics System Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, where I deepen my understanding of the latest technologies and trends in this field. Since January 2023, I have been working as an Engineering Intern at KBSL Information Technologies Limited, one of the leading IT service providers in Sri Lanka. I support the Information Security team in handling cyber incidents and ensuring network security for the company's data and systems. I have gained valuable experience in using tools such as NetOps, Fortinet, and Barracuda to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats. I have also obtained multiple certifications in network security from Fortinet and Barracuda, demonstrating my proficiency and commitment to this field. My goal is to combine my passion for Mechatronics and Cybersecurity to create innovative and secure solutions for the challenges of the digital age.
