About Saki Tsuru

Social Entrepreneur & Impact Strategist focused on grassroots women’s economic empowerment, participatory models, and robust Impact Management & Measurement (IMM). 5 Years of Ground-Up Experience in India I founded two social enterprises - one creating dignified jobs through home cleaning services for women in urban slums, and another providing crucial after-school education in rural areas. These experiences cemented my focus on pursuing Systemic Change for deeply rooted social problems, ensuring we move beyond short-term fixes. Academic Rigor & External Recognition I refined this practice with an MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics (LSE), graduating with Distinction and as a Chevening Scholar. My research explored the design of a participatory impact investment fund for gender inequality in India. My commitment to this field has been recognized: I was named a Women of the Future Programme Rising Star in ESG 2025. 🤝 Current Focus I now work with Impact Frontiers, supporting investors to integrate impact into their strategy and decision-making processes. Also, I'm building a social enterprise to empower women micro entrepreneurs in rural India.
