About Sakthivel Kumar

Applied Decision Scientist with 13+ years of experience designing and productionizing machine learning and optimization systems in large financial institutions. I specialize in converting complex business and pricing problems into decision frameworks powered by AI/ML and deploying them in regulated, real-world environments. My work spans supervised and unsupervised learning, optimization, and large-scale decision systems, with end-to-end ownership from problem formulation and feature engineering to deployment, monitoring, and model governance. I have applied these approaches across pricing and elasticity modeling, bidding and margin optimization, risk and portfolio analytics, anomaly detection, and automated decisioning at scale.I work at the intersection of business, data science, and engineering—focusing on explainable, measurable, and scalable solutions that directly influence revenue, risk, and operational efficiency. I enjoy partnering with stakeholders to turn analytical insight into production systems that drive tangible business outcomes.
