My name is Sakura – named after the cherry blossom, a flower cherished around the world. Behind my name is the hope that I would be loved by everyone I meet, and I’ve grown into a warm, easy-going person who genuinely enjoys connecting with others. Born in Manhattan and raised in Tokyo, I’ve had the privilege of growing up in a diverse, international environment. This background sparked a deep interest in communicating across cultures and has shaped me into a bilingual communicator fluent in both English and Japanese. After earning my degree in video production from Temple University, I began my career as a social media coordinator. Through hands-on experience in PR and digital marketing during my studies, I discovered a strong passion for creative storytelling and strategic content planning. With a solid foundation in visual communication and a growing understanding of digital strategy, I’ve learned how to build content that connects across platforms. Less than a year after graduating and joining the company, I was trusted to lead projects for major clients—something I take great pride in. From directing shoots and guiding creative direction to writing captions and copy that land with impact, I thrive in both the creative and executional sides of content creation. I enjoy coming up with fun, engaging ideas and building influencer marketing campaigns that resonate.
