Currently working as a Collision Training Facilitator for Chief Collision Previously the Collision Repair and Refinishing instructor for 10 years at Dauphin County Technical School. Automotive Cluster Department Chair which includes the following programs: Automotive Technology, Automotive Collision Repair & Refinishing, Diesel Technology, Outdoor Power Equipment and Precision Metals/Machining. I began teaching at Dauphin County Technical School in 2005. Since that time I have transformed the Collision and Refinishing program to be one of the finest secondary Collision and Refinishing Programs in the state of Pennsylvania. During my tenure I have successfully improved the quality of instruction, secured adequate tools and equipment necessary to teach collision repair & refinishing. I have also secured vehicle donations from major insurance companies and acquired donated salvage parts from a major salvage supplier to use for class instruction. In 2010 I started instructing the students in the use of Sherwin Williams AWX Waterborne Paint utilizing a Mixing System. The shop is also equipped with a Chief EZ Liner, Genesis Measuring System, six welding stations for Aluminum, Steel Mig Welding and Squeeze Type Resistance Welding. The shop is configured in a way so that students can rotate through various work stations to complete various tasks as assigned. They include a Four Wheel Alignment Machine, Structural Repair Area, Painting and Refinishing area, Nonstructural Repair and welding stations. The theory room is equipped with eight stationary computer stations as well as eight lap tops to write estimates and access OEM repair information to perform repairs.
