About Sal Rustom

Team-player, self-starter, and entrepreneur. Sal steers his career with passion and professionalism. He drove straight into developing his own venture after graduating from his MBA. Prior to this, his eye for opportunity and leadership as a project and division manager spurred growth and the creation of new divisions of an established corporation. Throughout his various roles, he has been able to build a toolkit of skills necessary to manage and lead projects large and small, but never forgetting that it’s about crossing the finish with the team. Looking to not just race through life, but live it well and give back, Sal helped open a new chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI) to help youth in their business ideas. Sal also consulted SMEs, helping them find solutions and grow their businesses. Saleh completed his MBA from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto with a focus on Strategy and Entrepreneurial Business, and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business from the Lebanese American University. Sal’s past experience includes: General Management, Sales and Business Development, Project Management, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Planning, Financial Modelling, Consulting, and Negotiations. Sal’s colleagues, classmates and friends would describe him as a “tech-early adopter”, who eagerly reviews and enjoys discussing the newest tech developments. Sal is a passionate non-fiction reader (a.k.a. a nerd), sometimes consuming five books a month. His favourite opera is Verdi’s Falstaff, about a buffoonish suitor. He is an active Crossfitter and a Dragon’s Den and Shark Tank enthusiast.
