About Salam Mohammed

A challenging person, utilized my extensive experience to improve citizen’s resiliency, increase community stabilization and advocate for national peace building, expert in international development programs, governance, humanitarian support, and stabilization programs, holding a master degree in management of development, diploma in strategic management, and deep experience in risk management, visioning, designing, and implementation of high impact programs supporting citizen’s welfare, rule of law, and justice through active participation in decision making, believes that governmental transparency, CSO engagements and public participation are an important entry points to resiliency and peace building I held many senior level positions during my 19 years of experience and working currently for DAI as Oversight and Accountability Team Leader. Personal achievements: 1- Writing new research about Electronic Administration and the possibility of applying the imported expertise in the third countries as Iraq. 2- Adding new methodologies to the training during my work as trainer for the Iraqi local government members. 3- Reform the process of projects approval, implementation and closeout during my work as a manager for Assistant for Civilian Victims. 4- Writing projects proposals and prepare budgeting forecast. 5- Writing SOP for Participatory budgeting to ensure civil society participation in budget preparation processes 6- Development of Transparency Mechanisms in collaboration with Iraqi Government and Civil Society including Code of Conduct for Transparency and Accountability within the Governmental Entities
