About Sali Farhan
I am an Assistant Professor at McGill University and Montreal Neurological Institute. I am also a Clinical Molecular Geneticist specializing in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and neurodegenerative disease genetic testing at the McGill University Health Centre. My career goal is to combine my training in statistical genetics and clinical molecular genetics to best serve the ALS community by providing robust genetic tests to expedite diagnosis as well as create a research program in which patients can be enrolled in additional research studies. I also have a special interest in working with patients, clinicians, industry, and basic scientists to translate research findings into clinically relevant outcomes.
