About Salim Sango

Experienced policy officer with a background in anti-corruption, human rights, legal, political and humanitarian affairs. A solid background working with human rights Think-And-Do Tanks (CHRDA), law firms (ANLF), the AU, UN and the U.S. Department of State. An established history of conducting criminal investigations, benchmarking, country visits, and fact-finding missions, evaluating the implementation of key African Union and United Nations Conventions by African Governments, engaging with civil society, government, national human rights institutions and anti-corruption agencies, and drafting comprehensive activity, periodic and thematic reports that identify loopholes, good and best practices. My experience span across Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Rwanda, Tanzania (and Zanzibar), the United Arab Emirates and the USA, with special tasks covering Congo, South Africa and several other African States.
