About Salima Abdul-Rahim

I am a RN with over 16 years of clinical experience. I specialized in providing skilled nursing care to medically fragile children. During the last four years, I operated in an administrative position as the Director of Bayada Nurses, Philadelphia Pediatric office. For the past ten years, I have been involved with 3 direct selling companies; Mary Kay, Premier Design Jewelry and Traverus Travel. While working in the "corporate world" I noticed at times, employee morale was low turner increased which decreased productivity. As the Director, I developed programs and training material and worked with my office employees to decrease turnover, increase morale and noticed the increase in productivity. I shared the information with my fellow directors and received positive feedback. At the recommendation of my professional coach and mentor, I enrolled and completed a 12 week Dale Carnegie course titled: Effective Communication and Human Relations. I excelled in the course and graduated with the top 2 awards offered. I decided to pursue formal education and training and enrolled in a Masters Degree program specializing in Leadership Development and Coaching. I am several quarters short of obtaining that degree. I am also enrolled in an accelerated coaching program to allow me to start my coaching business sooner. My goals are to: 1) Provide one to one coaching sessions to assist women in reaching deep within their souls to find their true dreams, give them strength to pursue their dreams and support them along the journey. 2)Provide individual coaching sessions or group trainings to employers and employees providing professional guidance and mentoring to increase employee and employer satisfaction.
