About Salima Samnani

Inclusive and diverse teams drive creativity, innovation and effective client development. I work with in-house leadership teams to advance underrepresented groups, engage with exceptional talent, strengthen outreach programs, manage diversity policies, foster community engagement, and support local, regional and global inclusion initiatives. As a workplace investigator, I investigate allegations of bullying and harassment, collective agreement and human rights violations, or non-compliance with the Workers Compensation Act and its regulations, policies, and guidelines. My investigations are fair, thorough, and proportionate to the issues raised by the evidence. Employers effectively use my conclusions and recommendations to take decisive and appropriate action, and preclude negative consequences. After receiving my Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, I earned a Master of Laws in International Cultural and Business Practices from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). My master's thesis was written for the World Trade Organization and the Aga Khan Institute of Microfinance in Geneva. In my thesis I explored the impact of micro-finance regulation on micro-borrowers. Having lived in Canada, East Africa, South Africa, Taipei, Australia, and Switzerland and having travelled to over 50 countries, I have a deep understanding of justice systems and work-place practices around the world.
