Salima Sule Ali is a luxury women’s occasion-wear designer behind her made to order brand SALIMA.ALI, as well as a Visiting Practitioner and Guest Lecturer at London College Fashion. As a graduate from London College of Fashion, where she studied BA (Hons) Design and Technology Womenswear she works on projects with the Widening Participation Outreach department and University of the Arts London partner colleges and organisations to not only share her love for fashion and creativity with potential students but also increase the knowledge and access needed for students to pursue a creative pathway as a degree. Since graduating in 2020, she completed her PG cert with UAL and works across London College of Fashion & Central Saint Martins to consolidate her practise in teaching and being a facilitator in the art of creativity. Previously having extensive experience in the apparel and fashion industry as a Production Assistant, Garment Technologist, Pattern cutter and Pattern Digitiser.
