About Sally Agar
I am passionate about developing Valley Ultrasound to provide excellent medical ultrasound services to the community. Recently Valley Ultrasound gained IANZ Accreditation we believe which endorses our quality service to Lower Hutt. I have worked in both the Private and Public sectors of medical ultrasound, in Palmerston North, Rotorua, and the Wellington region. The experience gained from exposure to the diverse nature of each role has enabled me to become a highly skilled Sonographer, proficient in all areas of ultrasound imaging. I have excellent communication skills and bedside manner which instil confidence and trust in my patients and their referrers. Prior to my present role, I was responsible for building a new standalone, sonographer ultrasound imaging practice in Porirua for Horizon Radiology. This became a highly successful part of Horizon's business and involved marketing the practice, and developing relationships with both the referrers, patients and the wider health community.
