About Sally Andersen

I have worked as a legal assistant/paralegal since August 1982, when I first started my career at Cruickshank Karvellas. While working full time, I also was a Continuing Education Instructor at NAIT (from September to November - 1991 to 1996) of Legal Secretarial Procedures in Litigation. This was a theory/practice-based course which prepared the student for legal secretarial duties in a civil litigation practice. In July 2001, I left the merged firm of Cruickshank Karvellas/Fraser Milner Casgrain to work with Bruce King who had also left to start up his own practice. I worked with Bruce King until he closed his law practice to pursue other endeavors. It was at that time that I was hired by Duncan Craig LLP as a Litigation Paralegal, and worked there until I had to retire my position to move to British Columbia. After moving to BC, I began working for McLennan Ross LLP as a remote Litigation Paralegal in May, 2014. I held that position until October 2023 when I decided to join Field Law in a full time remote position as a Litigation Support Paralegal.
