About Sally Barton
I received a bachelor's degree May 4, 2012 in Human Environmental Studies with a major in Interior Design. I also currently hold a BS and MS in Elementary Education from Auburn University and the University of Alabama respectively. After my years of working with children, I discovered the need for a new challenge and became immersed in the Interior Design curricula. This new challenge encouraged my creative passion for design. Each project brought satisfaction and the desire for further challenges. This current degree has prepared me to pursue an entry level position in Interior Design. My background as a teacher makes me uniquely prepared to offer expertise in the educational sector as well as implementing an organized plan of action. I plan to prepare for the NCIDQ exam as well as certification in LEED. My ultimate goal is to create an award winning design that is published. I am currently the owner/designer for Barton Designs. My specialty is residential, education, and healthcare design.
