About Sally Lin

With over a decade of experience in public health and public policy, I am a leader in leveraging evidence-based and equity-driven approaches to make a positive social impact in my community. After benefiting from career coaching services, I started my own business in 2021 to support equity-deserving professionals who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Colour and/or as someone in one or more socially marginalized group(s). I offer virtual career coaching services with various pricing options to help make it more financial accessibility to work together in a sustainable way. I have mentored and coached dozens of clients from diverse backgrounds and sectors, helping them achieve their career goals and aspirations. I am also a dedicated public servant working to serve my community and fellow British Columbians. Currently, I am a Senior Manager at the City of Vancouver, working in the Strategy and Project Supports Office- I work and reside on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Skwxwú7mesh, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples who continue to be in relationship with this land. Active displacement continues to this day in our institutions and neighbourhoods; in spite of this, Indigenous sovereignty, resurgence, and revitalization is strong here. As an immigrant settler to Turtle Island, I have benefited personally and professionally from the historical and on-going displacement of Indigenous peoples from their home territories where I grew up, worked, and received my training, including the Blackfoot, Nakota, Cree, Kanien'kehá:ka, Algonquin Anishnaabeg, Inuit, and the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, specifically the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ Nations.
