About Sally Senior

A fascination for what makes people tick and a love of helping others led me to HR. I'm trilingual with experience in designing, adapting, implementing, facilitating and evaluating learning programs. I work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and have strong communication and networking skills and excellent stakeholder management. I discovered my love for learning and development as student activities manager at LiverpoolSU, where I I led a team, managing onboarding, training, and coaching for ambitious student volunteers, staff, and elected officers. My responsibilities spanned the entire learning and development spectrum, from needs analysis to design, delivery, and evaluation. This experience inspired me to pursue a Master's in Human Resources and a Certificate in Learning and Development Practice. Relocating to Belgium, I further honed my skills as an L&D Officer at Solvay for 2.5 years. In this role I led deployment of the Supervisor Development Series across 16 countries, coordinated a high-potential leadership program, and pioneered digital learning pathways. In my most recent role, I supported HR transformation projects, providing data-driven insights. Serving as a "performance ambassador," I facilitated peer-sharing sessions and coached managers on key topics such as feedback, coaching, and team development. I also delivered virtual workshops on career development, and inclusive leadership. I'm detail orientated and a natural organizer, I love a good to do list, project plan or excel spreadsheet to help me make it happen. I'm a calm, pragmatic and positive 'people person' who enjoy helping others grow and facilitating discussion, and I'm comfortable diving into complexity, connecting the dots and communicating the results in a straightforward way. When I'm not project planning or designing and facilitating training, I'm usually trying to improve my dutch or playing with my kids.
