I am a strategic leader with over 30 years’ experience in managerial and leadership positions, including experience in national and international leadership and chairing a Board of Directors in the not-for-profit sector. I enjoy working at an executive and senior leadership level, applying my leadership skills to the definition and advancement of strategic priorities and outcomes. I consistently deliver operational excellence, produce high quality outputs, lead by example, positively influence others, actively engage with customers and stakeholders, and lead effective and accountable teams. I have been working in roles related to my profession as a Health Information Manager for over 30 years in public and private not for profit healthcare environments in Australia and New Zealand. I am considered by my peers to be a national leader in health information management. I have well developed management and governance skills including in strategic and operational planning, financial management, people management, risk management, project management, change management, policy development, process improvement, IT governance, information management and aspects of clinical governance. In addition to my leadership expertise, I have well developed operational and management expertise within the areas of information management and governance, data management, information privacy, document management, health record management, electronic health records, health information technology, health informatics, clinical classification, and terminology. In tandem to my professional roles, I have been developing my capabilities and experience as a ministry leader with a focus on spiritual leadership and wellbeing.
