About Salma Ali

As an Assistant Director of Immigration Services at John Cabot University, I have over 10 years of experience in business development and event management, with a focus on customer relationship management and human resources. I am responsible for creating and managing immigration procedures and policies for students in accordance with current laws and university procedures. I also develop and design training programs to meet students’ goals and objectives. I am also an advisor and mentor for the Arab Student Association, where I support students in their personal and professional development, and oversee club meetings and activities. I have a strong background in marketing and a certification in women leadership, and I have received multiple awards for my outstanding performance in organizing conferences and events. I am passionate about helping students and staff thrive in multicultural settings, and I am a native Arabic speaker and fluent in English and Italian.
