About Saloni Doshi

Saloni is the CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer at EcoEnclose, an industry-leading provider of sustainable packaging for tens of thousands of eCommerce brands. As a champion of ethically sourced materials and brand transparency, she helps brands implement more sustainable packaging in a way that aligns with their wider business objectives. Saloni is passionate about preserving the planet’s natural beauty and resources for future generations and acquiring EcoEnclose provided the perfect opportunity for her to merge her passions for business and social impact. As the company’s self-described sustainability geek, Saloni combines her passion for research, innovation and forward progress to do two things: educate brands on how their packaging choices can help them make a truly positive impact on the environment and support them in using the most eco-friendly packaging possible for their business. Saloni has always prioritized strategy and positive impact in her career. Before acquiring EcoEnclose, she was an Engagement Manager at New Venture Advisors, where she supported farms in the business process of moving from traditional to regenerative agriculture. Prior to that, Saloni was the Co-Founder and CEO of Fresh Takes Kitchen, a startup health and wellness company focused on addressing the obesity crisis in the US by making healthy meals affordable and accessible to low-income communities. Previously, Saloni worked at Teach for America, a nonprofit leadership development organization, and Mercer Management Consulting. Saloni has a BSE in Operations Research from Princeton University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She keeps her finger on the pulse of sustainability developments, regularly publishing detailed articles on the EcoEnclose website to help brands and consumers stay abreast of the latest environmental, packaging and shipping research. Saloni is constantly inspired by her children’s growing passion for the planet and its biodiversity to continue to pursue a green future by helping companies become EcoAllies that actively take steps toward building a truly circular material economy. During her career, Saloni has received several honors and awards. In 2012, she was selected as the Social Capital Markets (SOCAP) Scholarship Social Entrepreneur, a Top 10 Innovation Award Winner, and an Echoing Green Semi-Finalist. She was also honored as the 2013 Investors Circle Presenter.
