About Salvatore Sciascia

Salvatore Sciascia, Ph.D, is responsible for education, research and advisory projects in the fields of Family Business & Strategic Management since Università Cattaneo - LIUC he is Rector's Delegate for Research and Co-director of FABULA (FAmily BUsiness LAb).@ Jonkoping Business School he is Affiliated Professor at Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO).@ Lucerne University of Applied Sciences he is Contract Professor of Family Business Finance. He his Co-Editor of Journal of Management & Governance and sits in the Editorial Board of 4 journals: Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Family Business Review, Journal of Family Business Strategy, and Piccola Impresa/Small Business. He was also part of the editorial board of Journal of Small Business Management. Salvatore Sciascia got his Ph.D. at LIUC University (Italy) and visited the Jonkoping International Business School (Sweden) and University of Lugano (Switzerland) during his doctoral studies and after graduation. He teaches at LIUC University (Full Professor) at undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. He received research, teaching and evaluation appointments in other Italian and European Universities (e.g. Bocconi, Catania, Verona, Padova, Cattolica-Milan, Pisa, Naples, Valle d'Aosta, Statale - Milan, Bergamo, LUM, Foggia). In particular, he was Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at IULM University - Milan. His scientific activity was often awarded (see the ad hoc section) and was published in journals as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Family Business Review, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Small Business Economics, Journal of Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, European Management Journal, Family Relations, Journal of Family Business Strategy, European Management Review and Entrepreneurship Research Journal. He also authored 5 books. Salvatore Sciascia regularly presents his research activities at the main international conferences and gave keynote speeches in several occasions (Family Firm Institute Conference 2009; Corporate Entrepreneurship Workshop 2011; 5th E-LAB International Symposium on Family Entrepreneurship 2013; IFERA Research Development Workshop 2014). He is reviewer for several scientific journals.
