I'm a believer of following your passion, this is what has gotten me involved in the world of motorsports as an entrepreneur, driver, coach and past technician. Currently, proud to be a part of the team at Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit as a coach. Look forwards to constantly improving the business by providing the greatest customer experience through education and this great passion we share for driving. My past involvements include: BAKSPEED -provided race car rental, driver coaching, and "thrill rides" to driving enthusiasts to experience the performance of a purpose built race car. The car was a 2003 Radical SR3, a 1300 lbs prototype style car with a 1.3 litre 210hp Suzuki Hayabusa engine. Radicals may be quick, with a 0-60 MPH time in the 3 second range, yet where they truly shine is in the braking and handling department. With true race car aero works(The front consists of a large splitter and dive planes followed out back by a true diffuser and bi-plane wing) the Radical SR3 is able to achieve up to 2.5g of lateral grip. BAKSPEED also enjoys finding opportunities to partner with others to create mutually beneficial relationships through the motorsport experience along with high profile events including, but not limited to auto shows, charity & track events. I'm thrilled to also be involved with companies who work directly with manufactures to host automotive related events (i.e dealer training on new vehicle models, track events and customer experience programs). Some of the companies I've had the pleasure of working with include Pacemotorsports, FEL and Event Matrix. Back in Ontario it was a pleasure to be involved with ILR Car Control School, which focuses on both classroom and one-on-one coaching with the public and corporate employees, teaching how to become better drivers, as well as improve their understanding of vehicle driving dynamics and how their vehicle will perform at the limit in different situations. The program becomes especially busy during the winter months, as there is a large demand for the Winter Car Control program at our ice facility in Minden, Ontario. I am the proud graduate of the exclusive Automotive Business School of Canada, as well as the prestigious Bridgestone Racing/Mechanics Training Program located at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.
