About Sam Boughton

I am a Senior Director of Moonfare's Investor Relations, and lead the Moonfare EMEA Commercial Team. We are a team of 16 Investment Professionals across Europe and the Middle East, with representatives across Germany, London, Paris, Zurich and Tel Aviv. Our clients span private clients, family offices and partners (such as Banks, Wealth Managers)- for whom we are a trusted partner for their alternative investment needs. Moonfare is a technology platform that revolutionises private equity investing for individual investors, offering access to top quartile private equity funds from in direct investment and in portfolio solutions. In my role at Moonfare I have been responsible for the commercial delivery of critical key initiatives such as Moonfare Core Portfolio, Growth Portfolio and the Co-Investment Fund. I am involved in the Moonfare secondary market as well as our further strategic growth into new opportunities such as Semi-Liquid strategies. INSEAD Fellowship Scholar and MBA Graduate (with Distinction), graduating December 2019. Whilst on the MBA, I worked as an MBA Summer Associate in the Venture Capital industry with Antler based in London. Previously, I worked as a Chartered Wealth Manager at Coutts & Co. I specialised in Private Banking and Wealth Management for High and Ultra-High Net Worth European clients, mainly those living in London. My role involved providing investment and wealth structuring advice myself, as well as building and leading teams internally and externally to help my clients achieve their goals and aspirations in areas as diverse as private equity, philanthropy and succession planning for future generations.
