Sam is a chartered QS and management consultant with extensive experience covering infrastructure, public sector, commercial and healthcare sectors, across consultant, client and contracting environments. He has provided end-to-end commercial management and wider consultancy services for key clients including High Speed 2 Limited, Transport for London, Network Rail, First Group, EDF, and most recently the New Hospital Programme. Sam is an Associate Director at Currie & Brown UK where he operates as project / account lead, taking responsibility for account, financial and client management. Through these client-facing roles, he has demonstrated his ability to lead on new and existing commissions, establish, maintain, and strengthen client relationships and work collaboratively with client teams to achieve positive outcomes and add value. Sam has strong technical ability and experience in pre-contract commercial management and procurement advisory services, specifically the development and implementation of strategic advisory services, procurement, tendering and contracting strategies and leading on suitable procurement routes-to-market, ensuring full compliance with EU / UK procurement rules, procedures and governance. He is an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling him to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders and clients to ensure that project requirements are achieved through mutual understanding and collaboration.
