About Sam Caborn

I'm a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member (MIFireE) of The Institution of Fire Engineers. I work as a Senior Lecturer within the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University, before this I held the position of Managing Building Surveyor at Faithful+Gould. I previously worked as a Chartered Building Surveyor for Rider Levett Bucknall. I had a varied workload in the team with involvement in projects and various types of building surveys. After completing my undergraduate degree, BSc Hons Building Surveying, I spent a brief spell working in the house building industry for Redrow Homes. Following this, I worked as a Graduate Building Surveyor for Faithful+Gould. I have been fortunate enough to work with some great people at excellent companies and these experiences have contributed to my development as a professional. I'm also passionate about football and in addition to playing, I also volunteer as a coach, which has contributed to me obtaining the UEFA C Licence.
