About Sam Carter

Music Composition for Film and TV MA graduate, with experience composing for three podcasts to date, plus an upcoming short film. I am committed to bringing projects to life with a colourful, fresh sound, finding pure joy in musical creation and its capacity to compliment any story. Finding the right music for the right project is always at the front of my mind, and I enjoy tackling new genres and styles if I know it will achieve that perfect sound. This process, contemporary performance experience, and classical training all contribute to my ability to produce a wide range of musical styles. I am proud that one of the podcasts I have composed for, ‘The Carbon Removal Show’, has reached #1 in the Apple Podcasts UK Nature charts. I am interested in finding a more permanent, in-house composer role to take on projects I normally wouldn’t choose myself, taking on fresh challenges and broadening my range further.
