As a digital marketing professional and bassist, I combine my creative and strategic experience in digital and social media marketing to help brands stand out in the digital world. This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern for the National Institute for Social Media (NISM) as a social media strategist. In this position, I learned how to effectively: 1. Write captivating blog posts on various topics in the realm of social media marketing 2. Design eye-catching graphics and videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, and YouTube, using Canva and Photoshop 3. Craft compelling copy that aligns with NISM's brand voice 4. Manage NISM's TikTok account and increase their follower count by engaging with users in their target audience through following, liking, commenting, and direct messaging Beyond NISM, I am a driven DePaul University graduate specializing in digital marketing. My experience in Adobe Canva, Photoshop, Premier Pro, and DaVinci Resolve prepares me to create influential social media content. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace and have foundational knowledge in Google Analytics, Ad Search, SEO, and SEM. As an electric bass guitar player for the band Liquid Faction, I have the hands-on experience where I regularly engage audiences and innovate across social channels. My musical talents are relevant in the world of digital and social media marketing since it allows me to create original music to be used in promotional materials. Outside of the workplace, I love to weight-lift, play the bass guitar professionally, learn more about digital and social media marketing, create images in Canva and Adobe Photoshop, travel to places (both domestically and internationally), cook, and try out new restaurants with friends where we experience a variety of cultural foods.
