Significant major construction and engineering project and programme management experience including flagship projects such Guys & St Thomas’ Children’s Hospital Programme, Havant Thicket Reservoir, HS2, Heathrow Expansion, Thames Tideway Tunnel ('Super Sewer') and Crossrail. This has included responsibility for the development and implementation of project delivery strategies and processes, development of a health and safety culture, design management, procurement, programme controls, contract management, construction management and the successful management of complex stakeholder relationships. Project Director for Guys & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust managing delivery of a complex children’s hospital programme with major works in live operational clinical environments. Developed and implemented governance processes. Led procurement of the supply chain to design, manage and deliver the programme. Senior level stakeholder relationship management including clinical teams and NHS England. Interim Project Director for the Havant Thicket Reservoir Project for Portsmouth Water, delivering key early contracts safely on time and on budget. Developed construction strategy and programme to support the Hybrid Bill application for major portions of HS2 Phase 2B from Crewe to Manchester as a consultant to London Bridge Associates. Provided support to Tideway East on tunnelling interface management. Senior member of the programme delivery team on Heathrow Expansion, responsible for Off-Airport Works. Previously a Senior Project Manager responsible for the delivery of two major projects on the £4.2Bn Thames Tideway Tunnel programme. Central London high profile locations at Blackfriars and Victoria Embankment with major complex civil work including 22m shaft excavation in the tidal Thames river. Previously a Project Manager delivering an £80m Crossrail train stabling facility in an existing operational North East London rolling stock depot as part of the Crossrail programme. A former senior member of the AECOM UK Programme and Project Management group from 2008-2011 with client side project management experience and 'hands on' project management. Three years with Bovis Lend Lease as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical sector. Previously worked with Foster Wheeler for nine years on a number of project and construction management related assignments. Experience in several sectors including healthcare, water, infrastructure, transportation, education, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, petrochemicals, and power with 5 years international experience.
