Having gained my AAT qualification at 18, where I came straight out of school into an accountancy apprenticeship, I followed this by achieving ACCA and ACA qualifications with a large independent West Sussex firm where I was a Senior Statutory Auditor holding a practicing certificate. Following 20 years in practice I moved into industry as a Finance Director and business owner with a multi-million pound group and then onto my own accountancy and taxation consultancy business. Now returning to practice with LB in 2020, I have the unique skills to see the business world from different perspectives which places me with the strongest attributes to help advise you and your business. I head up the Audit & Assurance department and specialise in the technical aspects of accounting and auditing, I also advise SMEs and individuals on strategy, accountancy, tax planning together with general business support.
