Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Sam moved to Sydney in the mid 00s and has been working for Merivale since 2011. Hospitality runs in the family, with grandparents, parents and siblings all involved throughout their lives for various periods and fashions. During his Merivale career he been a part of the Felix, Palmer & Co, and Charlie Parker’s teams before stepping into the role of Group Bars Manager, where he finetuned the art of bar backing in venues across the group.
