As one of the Principals at Lanyard Group, I help capital partners access structured real estate lending opportunities secured by Canadian assets. We specialize in providing solutions to borrowers transitioning to institutional debt. Our underwriting emphasizes real estate equity and deal fundamentals - enabling us to lend where traditional lenders pause. Lanyard’s loans are internally originated and administered and often structured across senior and junior tranches, allowing aligned capital partners to participate in real estate credit with clarity and control. In addition to lending, Lanyard acquires and manages real estate through a co-investment model, providing partners with longer-term equity exposure and operational alignment.
