About Sam Force

A certified physician assistant with a demonstrated history of working in health care including home health, hospice, and various clinical settings. My time in the field has allowed me to develop professional skills in evidence based medicine, team based care, continual learning, leadership and problem solving. My career started as a CNA. I worked hard caring for patients at the basic level. A year later, Sunshine Home Health and Hospice hired me to the aide coordinator position. I spent my time there as a mid-level manager. I worked with a team of 20-30 CNAs. The position helped me develop communication skills with patients, employees, and administrative staff. After three years as a CNA and an aide coordinator, my career path led me to Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I graduated with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. My time was spent on “rotations”. My field of care changed every 5 weeks to develop a broad range of skills and abilities in health care. I worked as a orthopedic surgical physician assistant for 18 months. I'm currently looking to transition into an urgent care, a family medicine, or a telemedicine role.
