About Sam Grace

Began my career at Hamilton Lane investing across the capital structure in companies of all industries alongside elite private equity firms. During my direct transactional role, I contributed on over 10 investments, performing comprehensive due diligence and communicating recommendations to the investment committee. After a couple years, I transitioned into Corporate Strategy & Development focused on driving efficiency and growth. In this role, I worked on the corporate acquisition of a real assets firm (Real Asset Portfolio Management) to increase Hamilton Lane’s presence in real estate, natural resources, and infrastructure. Additionally, I helped launch Hamilton Lane’s first evergreen fund (Global Private Assets Fund), serving as a key resource on structuring, risk management, currency hedging and investment selection. I also helped lead the implementation of enterprise software (DealCloud), restructure an internal business unit for scale, and conduct research on competition and new technology. In September 2019, I left Hamilton Lane to pursue an entrepreneurial, opportunistic real estate and hospitality venture in Palm Beach, FL. The firm focuses on investment, development, and management with a geographic specialization that offers unique market insight, relationships, and access. Since joining NDT Development as a Partner, we closed on the acquisition of Lola Hospitality (Lola 41 Nantucket, Boston, Palm Beach, & Naples), expanded our residential management business (Kanga Property Management), started a General Contractor (Bennett-White Construction), opened numerous hospitality concepts (Cove Club, Lamarina, Cove Cafe), acquired/developed 300k+ square feet of commercial real estate, and assembled over 12 acres to create a vibrant mixed-use district in downtown West Palm (Nora).
