I currently work for Amey as an environmental consultant (arboriculture) providing advice and support for the business including highways, rail and facilities management. This involves the production of tree survey reports in in adherence to BS5837 Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction 2012 and tree condition surveys for land owners. I also work alongside our ecologists where I provide support when delivering climbing inspection of trees to evaluate bat habitat potential. I've spent the previous 20 years working within the arboricultural industry in a variety of roles from lead climber (arborist), supervisor and contract management. I have a passion for trees and the environment and feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work in this industry and hopefully make a positive impact.
