I enjoy building businesses, taking a model to market to solve real world problems. I am a strategic thinker, creative problem solver with a relentless focus on execution. I speak "tech" and can clearly communicate solutions and applications to the non tech exec. As a leader I play to win, I am future focused and balance empathy with analytics. At Trust Codes® we create digitalised supply chains, enhance consumer engagement and build trust in brands. As Australian Country Manager, I have built, developed and managed the Australian market strategy. Adding to our success in New Zealand we have secured contracts with leading brands within our chosen verticals. I have also secured partnerships with key supply chain participants as their chosen serialisation and traceability solution. I work closely with Australian Government trade arm, industry bodies and country marketing organisations educating them and their members on the importance and benefits of serialisation and traceability. Prior to Trust Codes® I was a co-partner and Managing Director in a turnaround acquisition, after its parent company went into administration (2009.) I exited the business through a two phase trade sale, which was completed in 2019. During the turnaround strategy the business achieved: • 435% increase in sales over the investment period • 12x return from initial investment • Secured the region’s largest corporate catalogue client in a 5 year contract • Secured the region’s largest outdoor visibility in a 3 year contract • Developed industry best warehousing and distribution KPI’s I started my career in financial markets in Australia before being transferred to North America as an FX spot dealer. Outside of my day job, I have invested in and mentored start-ups on their market execution strategies and commercialisation plans. Outside of work I enjoy surfing, ocean swimming, attempting to play the drums and exploring the SEQ country side with the family. My greatest success would be my two ridiculously energetic kids and convincing my wife to marry me.
