About Sam Harmon

Hello! My name is Sam. I am an 18-year disabled Army veteran who spent countless hours coaching, mentoring and teaching leaders how to be efficient and successful. I have partnered with executive team members at the highest level of government to define and operationalize strategic objectives. I thrive in managing chaos! I spent an additional 15 years mentoring and guiding young adults to be more successful and teaching the core values of leadership. I successfully managed a District level business with 30 access points.(I am honestly really good at the managing people thing). I have always lived by the leadership principle of "Leading by Example". I am organized (thanks to my wife more than the Army), dependent, energetic (for an old guy), and I am well liked by those I work with and am notorious for finding ways to make the work environment for fun for everyone. I currently work as a contractor for US Special Operations Command. I have my TS/SCI clearance and recently obtained my PMP certification. I spent the last 15 years teaching about leadership and mentoring students on everything else. I learned I have a passion for teaching leadership, and it was an amazing experience actually seeing young adults make changes in their life because of mentoring I gave them. I have also coached two different marching teams to a state championship during this time and coached 4 youth flag football teams (not such a good record on those.ha ha) I excel at managing people. I have learned how to listen, engage and really understand everyone. I have literally experienced every scenario one could imagine. I have so many stories! I bring my skills as a people-centered leader that has experience dealing with 14yr old's up to 60 year old's. I know how to bring out the best in everyone I work with. I am an avid football fan (Go Giants and Bucs), hockey fan (Lightning) and I love to snorkel. I am celebrating 30+ years of marriage with my wife!
