About Sam Harrison

From day one with an organization, I use my administrative skillset to improve office operations and foster strong relationships. I do this in my current role by providing prompt calendar management for multiple senior directors and acting as the first point of contact for the communications team at Elections Ontario. My background holds more than office work: I bring ten years of customer-facing experience and I'm a classically trained cellist. Working with clients and students has taught me so much about people (EQ boost) and how to work well under pressure. Studying music for seven years taught me discipline, collaboration, and how to be an exceptional listener. My ear is trained to hear music on a deeper level, which is something I easily apply to the words of my superiors, colleagues and stakeholders. I also love to think creatively and collaborate on long-term projects like the key staff training program I developed this past year. I excel at writing, designing and event planning. My colleagues would describe me as an upbeat, resourceful team member who's not afraid of a challenge.
