About Sam Hatch

As an associate attorney with Parsons Behle & Latimer, my work spans corporate and real estate practice, guiding clients through complex transactions with a strategic, business-minded approach. My focus includes business formation, commercial and real estate transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and related matters. Clients value responsiveness, attention to detail, and practical legal solutions designed to promote growth while protecting long-term interests. Experience includes advising small businesses, middle-market companies, and established enterprises on business sales, contract structuring, and real estate acquisitions. My legal foundation was built at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, graduating with honors. While there, I served as Executive Text Editor of the Utah Law Review, was a finalist in the Traynor Moot Court Competition, and earned the CALI Excellence Award in Legal Methods. Practical experience came from roles with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement, the Utah Court of Appeals, and an international intellectual property services company’s in-house legal team—providing insight into the internal operations and legal needs of businesses. Licensed in Idaho and the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, I actively participate in the Idaho State Bar’s Business and Corporate Law, Real Property, Taxation and Probate, and Young Lawyers Sections, as well as the Eastern Idaho Estate Planning Council. Rooted in southeast Idaho, I enjoy the region’s natural beauty and spend time outdoors with my wife and children whenever possible.
