About Sam Held

I currently serve as the Program Manager of IT's Standard Programs and Procedures (SPP) program, Technology Standards program, and the IT Architecture & Engineering Design Review program at TVA. The scope of my responsibilities range from designing the program; creating training and change management materials; and supporting employees and contractors interacting with these programs. I am a PhD with a background as a data governance team lead, people analyst, and workforce planning analyst at TVA; senior consultant (federal contractor) at Summit Consulting, LLC working on program evaluations for the Department of Labor; program evaluator and program manager of STEM research experience and scholarship/fellowship programs at ORAU/ORISE; and IT application specialist at Regal Entertainment Group. My past work has focused most recently around data and quantitative analytics around people and financial data related to TVA's employees and contractors at TVA or the current and future scientist and engineering workforces.
