About Sam King

I lead GIST Impact’s engagement with Corporate clients across sectors, drawing on my experience in strategy, digital and data transformation consulting (ex-Kearney and ex-Monitor Deloitte) to help new and existing clients on their impact valuation and sustainability journeys. I love working with many amazing clients, and of course an awesome and inspiring international team of scientists, economists and technologists from GIST Impact. We navigate together the changes that sustainability and transition planning are driving through businesses by helping to define the impact baseline and setting the right targets using GIST Impact’s data & intelligence. These data insights help companies determine the most material impact (positive and negative) of their company, business unit and projects, and drive operational and capital allocation decisions. Outside work, I love spending time outdoors surfing, nature watching, cycling and walking. I’m a veteran now of long-distance cycling on my homemade bamboo bike - cycling the Andes and Western Ghats and spending more time in a tent than I care to count. I’m also a big reader and always open to book recommendations! Many kind and inspiring people have helped me in my career so far and I’m open to help - especially those just starting out in their career and want to talk.
