I'm a hardworking and strongly motivated sound engineer/producer. I'm committed to achieving the best results for musical projects of all types in a friendly, creative environment. I can record, mix or master a project and contribute to songwriting and performing. Records I've recorded have been released internationally, played on BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music and have gained favourable reviews from the likes of The Guardian, Uncut and the Sunday Times:"This album sounds magnificent."- The Sunday Times (Last Harbour -'Your Heart, It Carries The Sound') I've recorded in studios all over the North West but I particularly enjoy recording in interesting, non-studio spaces. I've recorded albums in churches, village halls, concert halls, houses and basements, as well as expensive studios. I find that in non-studio spaces you don't have the same financial and time constraints which can lead to more creativity and focus. I have my own studio in Adelaide which is primarily a space for mixing and mastering but I also have all the instruments, amps, microphones, synths and software to compose and produce a variety of music. I've played a wide range of instruments on many albums over the years and often act as a session musician on records I produce. I also regularly record spoken word and live gigs. I also work semi-regularly as a live sound engineer at several venues around Adelaide.
