About Sam Marroquin

Hi there! I have worked in non-profit healthcare for over ten years. Over the last six years, I have successfully led multiple community health grants through the full program life cycle and ran the operations of a youth outpatient treatment program; I have managed three multi-year SAMHSA grants and two Los Angeles County Department of Public Health grants. As a Los Angeles native, I am proud to have led several efforts to address critical health issues that impact our communities through suicide prevention training, substance abuse education for youth and adults, and increased access to high-quality substance abuse treatment programs for youth and adolescents in the San Fernando Valley. My expertise is in compassionate leadership. While the non-profit world is often underfunded, our dedication and understanding are invaluable to our communities. I like approaching challenges as opportunities to test my knowledge and process.
