About Sam Moxham

I am driven by a passion for people at work, I thrive on seeing others succeed and understand that a whole person (with many facets) comes to work. I love to beat the drum for flexibility, fairness and inclusion so that everyone has the opportunity to thrive. I've had a long and varied career in HR, after travelling the world in my early 20’s I quickly worked my way up to being Head of HR at a number of firms. In 2013, I founded my own firm, Halo HR, a provider of holistic HR services and consultancy to SME’s always with a commercial and passionate approach to HR, I grew this business into a successful and sustainable Company now called Progeny HR Consultancy & Advice. The experience of starting and developing my own business was beyond challenging but the lessons learned remain with me every day. Progeny was Halo HR’s first ever client, and in 2019 I sold Halo HR and joined Progeny, I started in the position of HR Director and have progressed into the position of C-suite Executive and Chief People Officer. I remain passionate about the business I sold and still keep close connections to the team and clients. I always provide strategic and commercially driven advice and exceptional service to whoever needs it. Away from work, I love spending time traveling with my family and enjoying new experiences. I am determined to be a strong role model for my daughter, as well as an ambassador for women in business.
