I’ve always found myself drawn to the stories of our past. History isn't just a collection of dates and events for me; it’s a treasure trove of lessons that can help us navigate through chaos. This passion has led me into the nonprofit sector where I’ve dedicated my career to addressing societal challenges that often go overlooked by businesses and government. In my role as a Senior Program Analyst at Painted Brain, I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside passionate individuals committed to making a difference in Los Angeles. Here, I've helped continually increase our operating budget by diversifying our revenue streams. Prior to this, I spent over two years as an Education Program Manager at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, where I spearheaded initiatives that improved educational outcomes for hundreds of youth. Writing has also been a significant part of my journey. As a freelance writer, I honed my ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively—a skill that has proven invaluable in both my nonprofit work and personal projects. Whether crafting grant proposals or sharing community stories, I strive to connect with people on a deeper level.
