About Sam Ong

With 23 years of experience in project delivery, infrastructure, and application, I am a seasoned and certified project management professional who leads complex and innovative projects in the healthcare, technology and finance sectors. I'd served as the Vice President at Egis Healthcare Technologies, a leading provider of digital solutions for healthcare providers and patients, senior manager for finance and beauty industries. In my role, I oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects across the Regional and Asia-Pacific regions, working with cross-functional global teams, IT heads and external stakeholders to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Some of my recent achievements include revamping process and governance for several PMO, completion of a top overseas bank DevOps team training and handover as the change lead in Philippines/Shanghai, securing a large contract with a regional hospital network, and implementing successful agile methodologies, cloud and tenant to tenant Microsoft technologies to improve project performance and scalability, regional Tenant to Tenant/Azure migrations (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan).
